Protest for Police Accountability in Chicago
My existence is political
As a queer, non-binary individual living in the United States, my existence is inherently political. I grew up in a small town in which it was dangerous to be myself. I felt powerless and I didn’t have the agency to advocate for myself, but I was questioning and challenging my communities ways of thinking. My experience is also a part of the collective queer experience, in which we are painstakingly aware of the ways culture and government suppress our humanity and our visibility.
Bodily Autonomy
My primary efforts have been channeled into advocating for bodily autonomy and deconstructing the patriarchy. If you are interested in donating to help people across the U.S. with travel and lodging expenses to access safe abortions, you can donate here. Your donation will be split between Midwest Access Coalition, Fund Texas Choice, Feminist Women's Health Center, Mississippi Reproductive Freedom Fund, and Michigan Reproductive Freedom for All.
Trans / Gender Non-Conforming Livelihood
These two organizations below are black-trans-led non-profits, dedicated to trans-specific resources assisting in access to shelter, food, healthcare, and employment in predominately black and BIPOC neighborhoods.
