Finally Being Cringe:
Holding The Door Open
The poems in this book were never originally meant to be shared. They were written over the course of four years, during a time when I was finally allowing myself to be the “cringe” version of myself—the part I usually kept hidden from the light of day.
This collection is ordered chronologically to reflect my progression from start to finish. The poems touch on everything from societal observations and human behavior to grief, struggles with identity, and the raw need for expression.
I chose to publish this book because I see it as art I want to share with the world. It’s about offering my perspective on life and encouraging others to embrace and share theirs as well.
If you’d like to connect and talk about the book after reading, I’d love to hear from you. :)
